She has worked in acute, community, and research settings in South Africa and New Zealand.
Currently, Catherine is completing her Master’s in Rehabilitation in New Zealand. Her research interests include natural history studies, disease-modifying therapies, standards of care and standardised outcome measures for individuals with neuromuscular disorders. Additionally, Catherine serves as a consultant Master Physiotherapist for ATOM. In this role, she leads training and quality assurance efforts related to strength and motor function outcome measures for industry-sponsored clinical trials in the Asia-Pacific region.
Catherine is passionate about improving access to interventions and treatments, as well as implementing standards of care for all individuals with neuromuscular disorders.
